Comments: This was my second time watching deathnote at the movie theatres. Although again this movie doesn't follow what really happens in the manga because of all the changes in the storyline, it still was pretty good. Honestly I didn't really have any sympathy for Light. L was just plain hilarious in this movie with his "funny looking mask" I was very amused. Now I am eager to watch the 3rd one.

Comments: I watched this in the theaters and I remember all my friends and I ever did was just laugh and also making fun of all the deaths and other things that were happening in this movie. The storyline has changed although somethings were the same. The acting and effects were good. Overall it was pretty amusing to watch.

Comments: Miggy and Laida remind of the story Beauty and the Beast with Miggy being the beast because of his temperamental and kind of jerky personality and Laida being Belle with her nice, optimistic personality and love for Miggy even though he was practically a jerk in the beginning. I love their relationship in this movie and I started to like the whole Sarah and John Lloyd love team. I cried in this movie, and also laughed. Overall it was a movie that was worth seeing in theaters!

Title: Lovely Complex

They have each confessed to someone before, but were rejected because of their height differences. In school, they are known as "All Hanshin Kyojin" because of their height differences and the fact that they are always bickering in a comedic way. They are both looking for love and they just might find it in someone they didn't think they would: each other.

Comments: Just like the anime, I loved the movie! Although I pretty much loved the anime better. This movie made me laugh and it will also show people that height does not matter in a relationship as long as you like each other. I love the pairing of Risa and Otani they are so damn cute together! :)

Comments: Absolutely hilarious, I watched it twice and it never fails to make me laugh. Ai-Ai and Eugene make one funny pair of friends. I didn’t like Christine very much in this movie because at first she was just a damn brat. This movie is somewhat similar to Tanging Ina but than less children, and I thought it was also better. Great movie to watch with your family if you’re looking for a good laugh.

Summary: Manuel and Marian have been best friends since they were kids. They are so close that they know each other's secrets...well, almost. For the last 16 years, Manuel never had the courage to tell Marian how much he loves her. On the other hand, Marian sees Manuel as no more than her best friend. Ever since Lance and his family migrated abroad ten years ago, Marian never had the chance to establish contact with him again. Marian is intent on seeing Lance again, and she brings Manuel with her on a chase that brings them around the Philippines and abroad. Comments: This is the first Filipino movie that I have watched in theatres. The movie was enjoyable to watch and it’s so amusing to see the relationship between Manuel and Marian. This was the first time I have ever saw Sam Milby (and dang it he was hot! :O). This is a very good romantic-comedy movie.

Comments: It’s pretty scary but I don’t think it was as scary has the Feng Shui one, Kris’s previous horror film. Basically in my opinion even though this one got more on the box office. It’s a creepy movie, still. Not really for the kiddies who will get scared easily

Comments: Oh dang. This movie scared the crap out of me especially the Lotus feet thing! It just gives me Goosebumps. Superstitions are just damn scary now. I was practically hiding behind pillows and screaming under the table while watching. Yes seriously creepy and scary!

Comments: Eh this movie there is nothing much to say about it, I didn’t like it that much but it was sort of okay. I think the story I liked the most was with Hero Angeles and Sandra Park. The rest was just like ehh I don’t know.

Title: Jologs
Country: Philippines
Type: Movie
Rating:

Summary: Jologs is a narrative that plays with the concept of time and allows the audience to glean how life can be seen in different ways, depending on which point of view one takes. It reflects a modern sensibility that shows that in order to survive and prevail, we just have to live our lives --- and try to live it the best way we can… often with love.
Source

Comments: I kind of understood this movie but I didn’t, considering the fact that I didn’t grow up in the Philippines for that long. Lots of characters with different stories, at times it would get me confused about what is happening in the movie. Honestly I didn’t like it that much.
